Jamie Wilkinson, a teacher at Parsons The New School for Design in New York has challenged students to become famous (or as the students call it famo) utilizing the internet. The students are judged by how popular or famous they are at terms end utilizing the internet. Students have created blogs, videos, etc. to ultimately become internet famous. Jamie Wilkinson realized that the online virtual world is becoming saturated and students need the skills and the marketing prowess to ultimately succeed online utilizing social and viral internet marketing methods.
People tend to get quite philosophical around the end of the year, but what about corporations? Are employees at your company more interested in what Jones’ did last night with that banana and the punch bowl at the Christmas Party or how your company will thrive and grow in 2008?
