Do you know what is happening with your web site right now? Did your web design / Internet marketing company give you the keys to your web site stats? Where are your visitors coming from? What keywords did they type in? How long are they sticking around on your pages? What country are they coming from? What search engines are driving the most traffic and is it worthwhile traffic? If you don’t have access to any of these stats, your Internet marketing plan is flying blind.

If you aren’t on top of what your web site is doing, you could be missing out on some vital sales opportunities.  I’ve talked to so many business owners who have NO clue as to what is going on behind the scenes of their web site.  The end result, frustration, lack of a plan, lack of a vision for the web site tomorrow, etc.

If you don’t have access to your web analytics, get it as soon as you can from your web design or Internet marketing firm.  You’ll find a treasure box of valuable information (assuming analytics are installed on it) which can help you make your marketing decisions for the future.
