The office is empty, it’s nice and quiet, our team is off to recharge their batteries for the next week and to be with their families.  When it’s nice and quiet like this, I get a lot of thinking done and one word keeps coming to my mind: Humbled.

Humbled.  I am just flat out humbled. I’m humbled to have a staff that is amazing and strives to always do their best. I’m humbled to have a wife who tolerates my entrepreneurial spirit, I’m humbled to have had the chance to grow this company to where it is today, I’m more than humbled to have clients who believe in us, and trust in us. I’m humbled that some of my friends truly look out for me and call it the way they see it. I’m humbled to have family who believes in me and two beautiful daughters who would love to spend more time with me. I’m humbled that you even bothered to read this.

I think that at this time of the year it’s so important to think of all of the gifts that we have received throughout the year and let those reflections change us.  Whether you had the most prosperous year or a very difficult year, there are gifts to be gathered from both either experience. Embrace those gifts, learn and grow from them.

With all of that being said, it’s time to go Christmas shopping (I should have started drinking about an hour ago….)

Merry Christmas to all, and thank you.
