In a society where instant gratification is crucial, it’s very easy to get discouraged when your web site doesn’t rank number on in Google, MSN or Yahoo after all of that hard work and effort.  It’s VERY easy to give up, especially when it comes to blogging, utilizing social networks, commenting in community minded forums, etc.

The real deal about seo and Internet marketing is perseverance.  You may get a quick smashing hit with a press release and get some inbound traffic today, but that press release is here today, gone tomorrow online.  Here’s our suggestion: Map out a plan.  Use your calendar and make blogging a priority on Monday, spend some time on Thursday and work on your twitter account, write a relevant newsworthy press release on a quarterly basis, the key to all of this: DON’T STOP.  The Internet is so fluid that you need to be the constant contributor, if you step on the brakes, your competition steps on the gas.
